ALSIKE CLOVER

Alsike clover grows to c.a. 50cm , and has a moderately deep, but profusely branched root system. It develops rather early in spring, and when cut early it re-grows very well, producing many profusely leaved side-shoots. It is used both for meadows as well as pastures. Alsike clover is suitable for fertile and fairly moist soils, and has high nutritive value. It is a perennial.
