AUTOSTRADA I

This mixture, showing improved acclimatization capabilities, is recommended for sowing on green belts along roads and highways/ including median strips and roadside ditches/ in diverse soil and humidity conditions.

This mixture consists of perennial and italian ryegrass, red fescue, sheep’s fescue and tall fescue. The varied composition of this mixture renders it equally suitable in diverse, even extreme, habitats. Each of the components plays a specific role. Perennial and italian ryegrasses develop quickly, red fescue as well as sheep’s fescue and tall fescue provide for tolerance to seasonal draught while westerwold ryegrass functions as a cover for the other components in the first year of vegetation. The mixture is characterized by high winter hardiness, and is tolerant to increased soil salinity.
